Editing
Film editing, by definition, is the only art that is unique to cinema. Our film editors attend closely to every single shot which will eventually form a sequence, and then carefully connect sequences to form an entire movie.
Post Production
We are leading providers for high definition imaging solutions, and are able to support any of the multiple formats in the new landscape, especially 2k and 4k post production where variable resolutions, frame rates and deliverables coexist. To this end, we continue to extend our lead into high definition, film finishing and visual effects.
Color
In almost no other area of post production is the harmony of talent and technology as critical as it is with color correction. We have assembled a team of talented colorists and put the most innovative tools in their hands. We are using Iridas Speedgrade which delivers superior results and real time grading capability for virtually all digital raw formats and from many film scan formats.
Mobile Production
Digital Sputnik staff has helped to lead the evolution of mobile editorial services by providing intelligently designed non-linear editing systems to the film and advertising industry. We manage a variety of high definition services, including mobile-based shared 2k and 4k editorial, color correction, conform, preview and screening solutions that translate seamlessly into the finishing process.
Mastering
After finishing the film we can provide Mastering to virtually all Medias and formats. Including preparing and overseeing mastering to film, DCI mastering, 3D DCI mastering, BluRay Mastering, Digibeta, DVD, and a wide array of file formats for broadcasting and online distribution.
Consulting
Our knowledge and expertise of digital technology gives us a unique position for consulting others in developing state of the art facilities and workflow. We helped Baltic Film and Media School to build their post production centre that is all equipped with modern digital video and audio equipment utilizing SAN-systems. Our latest consulting project was upgrading and setting up Studio 3 editing suites and giving the knowhow about SAN-systems deployment in time critical TV-production.
