HOW IT STARTED
We had a successful IndieGoGo campaign that had 142 backers and €169,141 EUR collected. BUT, we are far from done because the perk deals are still available now- get yours on Indiegogo! APOLLO 1 CAMPAIGN
CREATING THE CAMPAIGN
This campaign was the time when our company was reborn- new team, new goals, new lights. Lots of motivation and innovation. When we saw the light for the first time, everyones eyes sparkled- this is it! This is the brain of the voyager and punch of the DS1 that people have asked for! We created a new logo and new webpage to pin point our time of change.
CAMPAIGN VIDEO
This video was really important for us to create- we wanted to SHOW what this light is about. The punch, the weight, the brain; all of it in a short video. Our crew is very limited, mainly done by 2 to 3 people. We knew this will be a challenge, not to mention first time creating Virtual Production in our office.
A woman follows a mysterious light that takes her on a wild journey to the source- a lighthouse that makes you question reality.
BEHIND THE SCENES
We filmed in 4 locations - A lighthouse & cave next to it, a dark room and 2 environments in Unreal Engine at our office. The main Apollo features that we wanted to show is punch of the light, lightweight and wireless control. We morphed all of these things and created the story. We chose the lighthouse because it represents strength and hope, trust that it will guide you home.

UNREAL ENGINE ENVIRONMENTS
It was the first time for me to create Virtual Production and environments in UE. We are showing just the possibility of this craft; what a beginner with basic skills can create. This was actually our first successful try! It took us some time to figure out the setup organization, the logic of real - time playback, syncing of lights and other technical errors. We were right, the light really sells the shot and makes the environment more immersive!
